Kristi Richards is a board-certified Family Nurse Practitioner with experience in primary care and specializing in diabetic wound care and limb preservation. Kristi is driven by her knowledge and experience to deliver high-quality care and her desire to improve patient outcomes.

Kristi is guided by the philosophy that every BODY has a story, and these stories lead to the discovery of an insight into health issues that demand a thorough investigation and compassionate care. With a decade of experience working in Canada's healthcare system followed by another twenty-six years in the US, she has cultivated a holistic approach to patient care, emphasizing the importance of discovering and managing underlying pathologies to improve health.

Central to Kristi's practice is the belief that patient care is patient-centric, where individuals should expect to have a strong voice in their own healthcare goals and decision-making. Her role as a Nurse Practitioner transcends managing diseases or symptoms; it involves understanding what health means to each patient, collaborating with them to identify their health goals and needs, providing education for informed decision-making, and partnering to help them achieve their highest level of health—particularly in managing diabetes and preventing its associated complications.

Outside of work, Kristi finds fulfillment in simple pleasures like playing with her dogs, spending family time (puzzles and card games are the favorites), hiking and camping, or tackling DIY projects at home.
