Dr. Rajiv Roy serves as the Medical Director of the MDWatch Diabetic Monitoring Program, where he leads the clinical team and sets the standards of care that guide the program. Dr. Roy is a board-certified adult endocrinologist entering his 20th year of practice at a busy multi-specialty group in San Diego, and a recognized expert in the management of type 1 and type 2 diabetes who regularly lectures to his colleagues and peers on the topic.
In his own practice, Dr. Roy manages diabetes with the most up-to-date medications and devices — including continuous glucose monitors and insulin pumps — the same evidence-based standard he brings to the MDWatch program he directs. He was named a Top Doctor by San Diego Magazine in 2022.
When Dr. Roy is not working, he enjoys spending time with his family and traveling the world!
